Pricing FAQ
- Is there a monthly or annual fee for stores?
- No. Stores pay nothing to use SponsorPay. The platform is completely free for stores — the only charge is the 6% processing fee on sponsor funds that SponsorPay collects and remits to you.
- What exactly triggers the 6% fee?
- The fee applies only when SponsorPay actively collects a sponsor's payment and transfers it to the store. If the store and sponsor settle funds outside of SponsorPay, no fee is charged.
- When does the $10 coupon fee get charged to sponsors?
- The $10 fee is charged per coupon at the time of creation. It's a flat fee regardless of how many times the coupon is redeemed or the value it funds.
- Can sponsors get a discount if they create a lot of coupons?
- Yes. Sponsors who need 100 or more coupons can contact us to discuss volume pricing. Reach out via the contact page and we'll put together a custom quote.
- Is the 6% fee charged to the store or the sponsor?
- It comes out of the sponsor's payment before it reaches the store. The sponsor sends the full amount; SponsorPay deducts 6% and remits the remainder to the store.
